BiographyMaruca Salazar has a dual career in education and the arts, with frequent overlap. She has a history in initiating, organizing and executing innovative programs and projects with students and teachers, some have achieved regional or national recognition. With substantial credits as a working artist and a solid background in organizing art projects and events, Maruca's expertise includes educational coordination (film and television), promotion (film, dance, and art) and curatorship (film and art). During the last decade, she has worked directly in film and video production. In addition to educational coordination, she provided location coordination, production, and organization, participated in conceptual and artistic development, and worked extensively in distribution of finished productions.
