Since 2010, the Biennial of the Americas has engaged tens of thousands of participants in roundtable workshops, groundbreaking symposia, and artistic practice.

Established by Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper when he was Mayor of Denver, along with leaders in the arts and business in the city, the organization will host it’s fourth biennial festival in 2017, following 20152010 and 2013 editions.

The 2013 festival convened 300 speakers from 21 countries for explorations of the issues that consume us, and cultural activities celebrating the ties that unite us. In 2014, the Biennial launched its interim year travel program with the 2014 Mexico City Summit, a bi-lateral gathering of US and Mexican leaders in the areas of education and energy policy.
