Maria Soledad Rojo
Strategic Planning Manager at Environmental Protection Agency Buenos Aires, Argentina
I am an accountant and Corporate Finance Specialist, but I have been always passionate about nature conservancy. In 2009 I joined “The Climate Project” and since then I decided I was going to devote my time to raise awareness and take action against climate change. I worked actively in Argentina to have a law to preserve Glaciers; I've produced several TV shows about environmental topics and since 2016 I am strategic planning manager at Environmental Protection Agency of Buenos Aires City. We delineate action to preserve biodiversity and to restore contaminated sites; we rule and guarantee and adequate environmental control; we design actions to mitigate greenhouse emission gases such: a) as energy efficiency and renewable; b) reuse, recycle and compost; c) native tree plantations.
