Mayor of the Americas Symposium on Entrepreneurial Cities

In cities throughout the Americas, Mayors can have outsized influence on policies ranging from trade to immigration, as well as culture and urban planning. This convening explored innovative urban policies with the Mayor of Denver, Colorado and Paulina Villa of Ruta N as they discuss the 21st century challenges and opportunities facing urban leaders today. It was followed by a panel discussion with Germano Guiamaras Souza, Tellus Institute Brazil; Carlos Andrés Jaramillo Velásquez, Executive Director, Ruta N; and Joice Toyota, Executive Director, Vector Brazil. It was facilitated by Brian Winter, Editor-in-chief of Americas Quarterly magazine.
