The Sustainable Water Track at the 2017 Biennial explored regional solutions to water security by assembling leaders from North, Central and South America. They shared best practices, catalyzed cross-pollination of ideas and crafted innovative solutions to water challenges.
The state of Colorado is a leading participant in state, national and international discussions of water sustainability, and has crafted and adopted innovative collaborations between the energy industry, environmentalists and other stakeholders to build a coalition of support for a safe, sustainable world while assuring clean and secure sources of energy. As a leader in this area, Colorado will convene other public and private leaders in sustainability to help craft a secure, shared water future.
