Victor Rujano Bautista is the Co-Founder of Culturas Indigenas y
Medio Ambiente Sustentable (CIMAS), an organization committed to promoting and defending the human rights of indigenous people and the protection of the right to a safe environment, to achieve sustainable development. In addition to leading this organization, Victor is a lawyer with Quintero, Calzadilla & Asociados, S.A., and has practiced environmental, civil and criminal law with other regional firms. He received his BA in Law and is pursuing his MA in Criminal Law from Universidad del Zulia. He was awarded with the Young Leaders of The Americas Initiative (YLAI) program fellowship in 2017, traveling to the United States with other 249 young entrepreneurs from latin american and caribbean countries, to advance their entrepreneurial, leadership and management skills, currently serving as recruitment ambassador for the YLAI 2018 fellowship. He speaks spanish and english, and also intermediate command of the french language.
